We're a spiritual event ticketing platform and conscious event marketplace, founded by father-and-son team GuruGanesha Singh and Akal Sahai Khalsa, born from a shared passion for sacred music, community, and service. Akal began this journey serving the movement as tour manager for Snatam Kaur, and that direct relationship with the artists and the practice has shaped everything we've built since. Over more than 20 years, we've powered tens of thousands of events, reached over one million attendees, and facilitated more than $100 million in ticket sales worldwide.
Underneath that hub is connective infrastructure: BrightStar links the people who make the movement — artists and teachers, venues and retreat centers, organizers and promoters, and the seekers who show up for them. Two engines power those connections. On the ticketing side, our checkout, scanner, attendee management, and analytics tools are built for transformational gatherings — from a single weekly meditation circle to multi-city kirtan tours. On the marketing side, we operate three programs working in concert: a built-in Affiliate Engine so promoters earn commissions sharing your event; a Brand Ambassador program where every ticket buyer automatically becomes a referral source; and Amplify — our paid marketing service that runs targeted Meta ads, email campaigns to our 350K+ list, and custom creative production for events that want professional growth.

What does BrightStar charge on the free plan?
Nothing. No platform fee per ticket, no percentage, no monthly charge and no contract. The only cost on a paid ticket is Stripe's card processing, which goes to Stripe rather than to us.
Free events cost nothing at all — no card is involved, so no fee is either.
So how do the card fees work?
Standard card processing, charged once per order rather than per ticket. You choose whether the buyer covers it at checkout or you absorb it — if the buyer covers it, you keep 100% of your ticket price.
That choice is a single setting on each event, and you can change it any time before tickets go on sale.
When do I get paid?
Directly, through your own Stripe account. Money from a ticket sale goes to you on Stripe's normal payout schedule — it never sits in a BrightStar balance waiting to be released.
You connect Stripe once during setup and own the account outright, including the payout timing and the bank details on it.
What's the catch?
There isn't one on the ticketing itself. Free is the floor, not a trial — there is no day where the free plan stops being free. We earn only when an organizer chooses a paid plan for the extra revenue and reach tools.
Is the free plan crippled compared to the paid ones?
No. Unlimited events, the scanner app, analytics, your schedule and FAQs, multi-currency and mobile wallet tickets are all included. The paid plans add growth tools — they don't unlock basic ticketing.
Can I move my existing event over?
Yes. You can create your event and put it on sale without talking to anyone — there is no sales call, no demo requirement and no onboarding queue.
What kinds of events can I host?
Anything in the conscious and wellness space — yoga, kirtan, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, ecstatic dance, ceremonies, workshops, teacher trainings, retreats, festivals and online events.
One free event or a hundred — there is no cap on how many you run.
What happens if I outgrow the free plan?
You upgrade a single event, not your account. Paid plans are chosen per event, so a bigger festival can use the extra tools while your weekly class stays free.
